Personal Goals
I turn 30 years old next year. I'm not exactly saddened by this reality at all. In
fact, I'm pretty happy about looking back at my younger years with the conclusion that I've lived a rather balanced
youth. My decisions have been reflective of an equally prudent and reckless personality, and I'm okay with that.
Some goals have been replaced with other achievement, and many ideas have been dismissed within the course of time.
In
the year 2008, I experienced many wonderful developments. I have a job I enjoy, and I maintain a healthy creative side.
My personal relationships are solid, and I've learned plenty about myself in this process. I'm just not a kid
anymore--go figure. It finally hit me.
Gibberless Magazine is important to me. It is a goal I set
for myself several years ago when I was a fulltime freelance writer and editor. I had just written my first book, and
I thought I was the ideal artsy person I'd always thought I'd become. Yet, that life, I soon found, was difficult
and highly uneventful. I was always waiting for some "luck" to come my way, but none of that ever came easy.
I
had to work hard.
So, I still work hard. It's a system that has proven effective in my life.
My latest
ambition is physical. I began training for long distance running in August, and I've had plenty of fun doing it.
I'm very proud of my current accomplishments. I've also decided to raise funds for charity through my running.
We'll see what I can accomplish in a year by the time I'm 30.
As to Gibberless, I hope to expand the content
into print. I hope that our readers find the articles more than just interesting. My writers have a wonderful
ability to express themselves, and we provide information that is both, meaningful and interesting.
I hope that
our readers develop goals and systems to achieve these goals after perusing Gibberless. I hope that a young woman
gets a great idea from something she has read here.
I'm ambitious, but I'm realistic.
In the months to
come, I will see Gibberless kick-off new content and develop a more consistent relationship with young readers. I hope
that those faithful readers will still help us with word-of-mouth, too!
Until my next thought...
Love and hugs,
Prin
